Bar and Restaurant
Claylands Caravan Park is not only an ideal base from which to tour and explore but also where you can have a complete holiday. On site we have all you need including a very comfortable clubhouse where you can relax in the Stepping Stones bar with friends old and new.
All are welcome to join us in the friendly and relaxed atmosphere generated by the hosts, who are family members. The picture windows over the clubhouse overlook manicured lawns and the meandering River Wyre. The Stepping Stones Bar Lounge promotes various draught beers and other refreshments ranging from a "Cool Gin and Tonic" to a "Cosy Cup of Tea".
In true holiday spirit a rest is also offered to the cook! Why not experience one of the many delicious hot or cold bar meals served from the kitchen, home-made on the premises. A word of warning - it is wise to leave all diets at home!
Picnic Areas
On a fine day a short stroll to the picnic area is just the thing. There is a lovely peaceful retreat where you can have a short rest or take some light refreshment with you.
There is plenty of wildlife to see, ranging from a whole host of birds to the charming grey squirrels whose amusing antics will keep you entertained.
You may have to keep quiet to spot anything of a rarity, but all are a pleasure to watch.
